GST modification is the process of making changes or alterations in the GST Registration or the details such as name, address, contact details, email ID entered in the GST certificate. One may opt for Amendment in GST Registration if he wishes from composite to normal scheme, or if there are mistakes in GST registration. To get GST modification, you need to file form GST REG 14.
GST Modification is divided into two parts: Core Fields and Non-Core Fields. Core Field changes require supporting documents to be attached while applying. Non-Core Fields can be updated without submitting any proofs.
Non-Core Fields include email ID, Phone number, any minor changes, while Core Fields include Change in Address, Add a place of Business, etc.
A business can update or correct its GST registration details when:
• The application is being processed and
• The business is already registered under GST (application is already processed)
A business owner can apply for change(s) of the following items:
• Name of business.
• Address of the principal place of business
• An additional place of business
• Addition, deletion, or retirement of partners or directors, Managing Committee, CEO i.e., people who are responsible for day-to-day affairs of the business.
• Mobile number or e-mail address of the authorized signatory.

Our team of experts will verify the documents provided by you and take the procedure further. Once your documents along with Checklist are submitted, we shall proceed with the application of your Digital Signature and subsequently the approval of name for your Private Limited Company. You may suggest up to three names of your choice. Names should be unique and suggestive of the Company’s business. We will proceed with application for name for your Private Limited Company in Part A of SPICe Plus form.
We will draft the MOA (Memorandum of association) and AOA (Articles of association). We will file the incorporation documents with MCA through in part B of a form called “SPICe Plus (SPICe +)” along with the subscription statement. Usually, MCA approves the forms within 4-5 days once filed and issues Incorporation Certificate with CIN. PAN & TAN are allotted alongside. You may then proceed to open your Company Bank Account.
